Recent updates in Flotiq
We've recently launched a couple of important updates to the Flotiq admin interface that will allow you to work even faster.
With the recent update of Flotiq we've introduced 2 features that will make your work a lot easier.
Predefined Content Types
Regardless of how complex applications you're building - we understand that jumpstarting your work is important. You can now create new Content Types with a number of predefined content type boilerplates. You will find the boilerplates in the top right corner of the Type definitions screen, right next to the "Add Definition" button.
Here are the boilerplates we've set up for you:
- BlogPost (title, slug, content, image)
- Event (name, slug, address, date, description, gallery)
- Product (name, slug, price, descripion, image, gallery)
- Project (name, slug, description, gallery)
- Recipe (name, slug, descripion, ingredients, steps, cookingTime, servings, image)
Hint - they should work well with the project boilerplates you'll find in our github repositories!
Remember that you can always change these content type definitions!
Ability to add related objects while editing parent
Ok, this is a mouthful! We often find ourselves working on a blogpost in Flotiq and we're too lazy to save the post, go back to the media library, upload a file, go back to the post and set it as a header image. It's so much more convenient now, once all connected content types are available for edit within the form.
You'll never have to leave the content object editor to add another object, whatever it may be - tag, image, category. As long as you've defined a relation type of field in the Content Type editor - you'll be able to use it right away.
